You may not use WorkLatch to facilitate illegal goods, illegal services, or other unlawful transactions.

This may include unlawful controlled-substance activity, unlawful weapons activity, unlawful gambling, unlawful sexual exploitation, unlawful financial schemes, unlawful debt collection, or other unlawful activity.

This AUP does not automatically approve or permanently prohibit every lawful business operating in a regulated industry.

WorkLatch may restrict particular businesses, industries, or use cases based on applicable law, carrier or provider rules, payment-provider requirements, risk, security, or compliance needs.

8. Caller Information and Lead Abuse

Caller and job-request information may be used only for legitimate purposes connected to the Caller’s actual service request and reasonable administration of that customer relationship.

You may not:

  • sell or resell Caller information;
  • sell WorkLatch job packets;
  • use Rescue submissions as unrelated lead lists;
  • harvest Caller information;
  • traffic in Caller information;
  • transfer Caller information for unauthorized lead resale;
  • automatically enroll Callers in unrelated marketing; or
  • improperly disclose Caller information for unrelated promotional purposes.

9. No Cross-Tenant Access

You may not attempt to access another Business Customer’s:

  • job packets;
  • Caller information;
  • uploaded media;
  • account data;
  • identifiers; or
  • systems

without authorization.

10. Unauthorized Account Access

You may not:

  • unauthorized vulnerability exploitation;
  • malicious scanning;
  • token theft or replay;
  • unauthorized access to private storage;
  • attempts to bypass rate limits or security controls; or
  • similar malicious activity.

Nothing in this section prohibits security testing expressly authorized by WorkLatch.

12. Automated Access and Scraping

You may not use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or automated agents outside authorized methods to:

  • extract proprietary information;
  • scrape Caller or Business Customer information;
  • generate artificial traffic;
  • create artificial Rescue activity;
  • bypass rate limits;
  • reproduce substantial parts of WorkLatch; or
  • improperly build or train a competing system using WorkLatch proprietary materials.

Lawful interoperability, authorized integrations, and conduct expressly permitted by applicable law remain allowed.

13. Reverse Engineering

Except where applicable law permits otherwise, you may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, circumvent technical restrictions, extract proprietary source code, or improperly copy proprietary WorkLatch components.

14. Uploaded Content

You may not knowingly upload content that:

  • infringes legal rights;
  • contains child sexual abuse material or sexual exploitation of minors;
  • contains non-consensual intimate imagery;
  • contains unlawful pornography or unlawful sexual exploitation;
  • depicts, promotes, or facilitates serious unlawful activity;
  • contains malware or malicious code;
  • is designed to compromise systems; or
  • is intended to seriously harass, threaten, exploit, or abuse another person.

WorkLatch does not currently claim every uploaded file is antivirus-scanned or certified safe.

15. Intellectual Property

You may not knowingly use WorkLatch to infringe copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, publicity, or other proprietary rights.

16. Harassment, Threats, and Exploitation

You may not use WorkLatch to seriously harass, threaten, exploit, abuse, stalk, unlawfully intimidate, facilitate credible threats of violence, or weaponize Caller or job-request information against another person.

17. Misrepresentation of WorkLatch

You may not falsely claim that:

  • WorkLatch endorses your business;
  • WorkLatch guarantees your services or workmanship;
  • WorkLatch guarantees revenue or job recovery;
  • WorkLatch certified or licensed your business when it did not; or
  • you are WorkLatch or a WorkLatch representative when you are not.

18. Provider and Carrier Compliance

WorkLatch may restrict uses that violate requirements applicable to WorkLatch from telecommunications carriers, Telnyx, Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, hosting or infrastructure providers, payment providers, or other necessary service providers.

19. Billing and Usage Manipulation

You may not intentionally manipulate:

  • usage accounting;
  • Rescue Activation accounting;
  • courtesy capacity;
  • subscription state;
  • billing events; or
  • paid entitlements

to obtain unauthorized service or improperly shift usage to another Business Customer.

20. Telecommunications Number Misuse

You may not:

  • sell or lease a WorkLatch-assigned number without authorization;
  • use it to impersonate another business;
  • engage in unauthorized porting activity;
  • manipulate caller ID for fraud;
  • use the number for unauthorized bulk messaging; or
  • interfere with WorkLatch or provider control of the number.

21. Evasion of Enforcement

You may not attempt to avoid a legitimate WorkLatch restriction, suspension, or termination by creating replacement accounts, using another Business Customer’s account, changing identities or numbers, circumventing technical blocks, or otherwise evading enforcement.

22. Investigations

WorkLatch may investigate suspected:

  • fraud;
  • spam;
  • security threats;
  • telecommunications violations;
  • payment abuse;
  • Caller-data misuse;
  • unlawful activity; or
  • policy violations

where reasonably appropriate.

This does not mean WorkLatch continuously monitors every customer, communication, job packet, or uploaded file.

23. Enforcement Actions

Where reasonably appropriate, WorkLatch may:

  • warn a Business Customer;
  • restrict features;
  • disable messaging or voice functionality;
  • restrict Rescue processing;
  • disable uploads;
  • quarantine or remove prohibited content;
  • suspend or terminate accounts;
  • block abusive traffic;
  • preserve records;
  • cooperate with service providers; or
  • take other proportionate action.

Immediate action may be taken for serious fraud, security, carrier, payment, legal, or abuse risk.

For less urgent or remediable issues, WorkLatch may provide notice or an opportunity to cure at its discretion.

24. Content Restrictions

WorkLatch may remove, quarantine, restrict, or disable access to content where reasonably necessary because the content violates policy, appears unlawful, creates a security/provider risk, infringes rights, or must be restricted to comply with law.

25. Preservation and Disclosure

WorkLatch may preserve information for:

  • fraud or security investigations;
  • telecommunications compliance;
  • payment disputes;
  • legal claims;
  • agreement enforcement;
  • lawful process; or
  • legal/regulatory obligations.

Disclosures require a legitimate legal, security, compliance, or operational basis.

26. Business Customer Responsibility for Authorized Users

Business Customers should appropriately manage account access, remove access when no longer appropriate, protect credentials, manage roles, report suspected unauthorized access, and take reasonable steps to ensure Authorized Users comply with this AUP.

Business Customers are not strictly responsible for activity caused solely by a WorkLatch security failure or another circumstance clearly outside their reasonable control.

27. Reporting Abuse

Reports may be submitted through:

Email: support@worklatch.tech

Support: https://www.worklatch.tech/support

For immediate threats to life or physical safety, contact appropriate emergency or law-enforcement authorities rather than relying solely on WorkLatch support.

28. Changes to This AUP

WorkLatch may update this AUP as the Service, abuse patterns, provider requirements, telecommunications requirements, law, or risk/compliance needs evolve.

Material changes apply prospectively.

WorkLatch may impose immediate restrictions on newly discovered harmful or unlawful conduct where reasonably necessary.
